We watched Enchanted the other night and me and the girls have been dancing ever since!

Flag Football

Yesterday was Jonathon's first football game. His team is the Sabercats. They did really well! For most of the boys this is their first experience with football and they have learned so much in the last 3 weeks. Unfortunately, they lost 3 touchdowns to 2, but it was fun.

A First!!

When I tried to take Ella's picture tonight, she covered her face and said NO! I have never had any problem with my girls smiling for pictures. I hope this is only because she is tired!

A bike ride

Our neighborhood isn't complete yet, so there is a whole street that is basically a grass field that we take Abby to let her run. Tonight, I took the camera to try to get a picture of her jumping over the construction fence. I never got a shot (she is quick!), but I did catch some of the fun.

Did it snow?

The weather today is beautiful (blue skies and 81), so you can imagine my surprise when I drove into the driveway and saw white on the grass.
Then you can imagine my shock when I raised the garage door to this!
Abby, the sweet puppy (did you catch the sarcasm?) we got our kids for Christmas, had chewed the zipper off the bean bag she sleeps on in the garage and the rest is history or in this case a very big mess! Thank God for the shop vac!

Boobs!

This morning as I was helping Grace get ready, she kept trying to stick out her chest. I told her to stop because she didn't have any "boobs". She said, "I want boobs!" I said, "No you don't and you won't have any until you are a teenager." I sent her to the bathroom to tell her father the latest thing she wanted (I'm mean like that!). First he thought she said "boots", then he understood and asked her "Why?" and she said "I want to wear a bra". I quickly responded, "NO, you don't!!!" What am I going to do with this girl?

Ella-isms

Ella says some of the funniest things! Today, I did something (what, I can't remember!) and she said, "That's what I'm talkin' bout!" And every time she uses the potty, she hugs me and says, "I'm so proud of you, Mommy." (Like I did something wonderful!) She makes me laugh everyday!!
