Are you ready?

Ready or not, we are jumping head first into the football arena! He sure looks ready, doesn't he? They just better not hurt my little boy!!!

A Family in Need!

As some of you know, I love the bloggy world and I have found some really cool people who have allowed us to see in their lives. One of those really cool families is in a very desperate situation right now and they need prayer. They are expecting their 4th baby and have found out he is having serious heart issues. The doctors are trying to treat it with medicine, but mom's body is not cooperating. Our God is the Creator and Healer and is in total control. Please join me in praying for this family that a miracle will be performed in their lives. Click on the link below to read all about their struggle.

This is my favorite picture I took all weekend. I love that she is standing at the crossroad of two paths. It is just such a picture of life.

Church on the mountain

Every year on the 3rd Sunday in July, my family goes to what we call Buck Creek. It is when we go to Buck Creek NC and have church on the mountain underneath a tree in a grave yard. There is just something amazing about singing praises to our savior on the top of a mountain. Even though it isn't easy to pack up the family and spend a lot of the day driving (to the mountains, from the mountains and then back to our home- total about 5 hours), it is so worth it. In the picture above, my kids are spread out listening to the singing.
This is my grandmother, we call her Nana. After the singing, she teaches Sunday School to everyone. She is amazing.
This is my grandfather, we call him Papa. He turned 84 this year, but that didn't stop him from making the trip. They have been an amazing example of living like Christ. I have a picture of them on my refrigerator to remind me of the type of marriage I want to have.
Ella got a little antsy, so she went to see the flowers at a nearby grave.
Nana, my aunt Joyce, my aunt Mary and Margaret sang a special song. It was beautiful.

Party Fun

While we were home last weekend, we went to my nephew's 4th birthday party (there is no way he is 4 because it just seems like he came home from the hospital). It was a Clemson football party. We all had a great time!

The pinata was a big hit. Isn't Jonathon a good big brother, holding it still for Ella?

Bubbles

While we were home, the girls had fun with bubbles at Les's mom's house. I may be biased, but I think my girls are beautiful.

Sports Camp

Sports camp was awesome! It was 5 days of learning a sport but more importantly, learning about Jesus. I helped with soccer ( and they watched me like a hawk to make sure I was not over doing it!). Jonathon did football and loved it. Grace did cheer leading and was great as usual.

I'm back!!

No I did not fall off the face of the earth! I have just been VERY busy! In 11 days I coached soccer at Palmetto Sports Camp, visited relatives and went to a family gathering in the mountains, and took a group of kids to Camp KidJam for 4 crazy, Jesus filled days of fun, then came home to play softball. Needless to say, I am tired. I will have pictures and stories soon, but right now I am catching up with my husband, my kids and my sleep.
