Sports Camp

Sports camp was awesome! It was 5 days of learning a sport but more importantly, learning about Jesus. I helped with soccer ( and they watched me like a hawk to make sure I was not over doing it!). Jonathon did football and loved it. Grace did cheer leading and was great as usual.

I'm back!!

No I did not fall off the face of the earth! I have just been VERY busy! In 11 days I coached soccer at Palmetto Sports Camp, visited relatives and went to a family gathering in the mountains, and took a group of kids to Camp KidJam for 4 crazy, Jesus filled days of fun, then came home to play softball. Needless to say, I am tired. I will have pictures and stories soon, but right now I am catching up with my husband, my kids and my sleep.

Its raining, its pouring

Sunday evening we got a little rain, well a lot of rain. Just see for yourself. This is our backyard, or our sometimes Lake Scott.

Baby Update

I went to the doctor for my first official visit this morning. Even though this is my 4th pregnancy and I have been through all of this before, I was a nervous wreck. The doctor, who is a good friend of mine, was running late, so I got to sit in the room with my nervousness and let it turn into a complete panic. It made no sense! Before I went in the room, everything was fine- my weight was good, my blood pressure was good. I had no reason to think something was wrong, but I couldn't shake the feeling. I sat there, half naked, and just prayed. I would turn it over to God and take it right back, and do it all over again. When Dr. Hilton came in I was on the verge of tears! I told her I was about to freak out, so she laid the table back and said, "and here's your little baby". I have heard that sound many other times, but today it was extra special. She didn't have to look for it, she just touch my stomach and it was loud and clear. As I fought back the tears, I felt so foolish. She just held it there and let me listen, just for extra reassurance. I have no explanation for my fear. I need to trust that God is performing a miracle inside me and trust Him, not all these crazy pregnancy sites on the internet or the doubts Satan is putting in my head. Nothing good is coming from reading them or listening to them. They are only making me worry, so I am deleting them. I am also deleting those doubts. My God is bigger than any fear or problem I could even think of, so I am dwelling on Him.

Hey! Did you guys know that today is my Aunt Alisha's birthday! Wow! I guess that means she is getting old!

Its official!!

This little cutie is officially potty trained!!! All day and all night in big girl panties and telling us when she needs to go! I am so happy! Just think, only 30 weeks and I get to start the diaper thing all over again. I think some of you are right and I have lost my mind.

4th of July Fun

It totally amazes me how God can take two ordinary looking people like me and Les and create such a beautiful child! I think all of my kids are gorgeous, but sometimes Grace just takes my breath away! We are in sooooo much trouble!!!
