Ella's BFF Julianne came home with us Tuesday after bible study. They had a great time playing with the learning computers Grandy bought the girls. I had to take a picture, because I am sure it is what to come!

Say AHHH!

Saturday, Abby was being her normal puppy self and chewing on everything in the house, when she got one of Grace's Barbie accessories. This didn't sit well with Grace, so she was determined to get the little brush out of Abby's mouth. After several attempts to grab it that failed, she tried to reason with the puppy. She pulled Abby in to her lap and told her "Say AHHH, Abby." It was so funny! I laughed until I was crying! She totally thought the dog would open up and say AHH. I love my kids!

Friday Funny!

For Christmas, Grace got a Baby Alive. This doll is kinda cool. She drinks and then wets her diaper. She also makes pretty realistic baby sounds and moves her legs and arms. Needless to say, she is a pretty big hit. Yesterday, Ella was playing with "baby live" and wanted to feed it, so we put on its diaper and got the bottle full and sat on my bed to feed "baby live". Ella pushed the button to make it come alive and it started kicking its legs and moving its arms. Well this FREAKED Ella out! She threw "baby live" on the bed and said "Baby live scare me!" and wanted nothing else to do with "baby live" for the rest of the day. I guess there is such a thing as too realistic! :)

Thankful Thursday

I can honestly say that I haven't felt very thankful today or last couple of days. I just feel so stressed and 95% of it is self induced. I dreaded sitting down to do this post and started wondering why I thought this was such a great idea, then I realized that I needed to start looking for things to be thankful for and amazingly, I found some!

1. little girls who love to look at books
2. husbands who kiss you goodbye even though you spent the morning yelling at each other
3. the ability to take all the things that are driving me crazy to my heavenly Father
4. ways to earn extra income
5. bagels with honey butter
6. the number on the scale is lower today than yesterday
7. Les
8. Jonathon
9. Grace

It's a puppy's life

It is hard to be a puppy in the Scott house. Take a look and see what I mean.

You only get fancy hats as your chew toys.

You have to share the couch with Ella

You have to take a nap wherever you can get one

Daddy's the Man!

Les is over the men's church league in our town and is also the "coach" of one of the teams from our church. The other night they had their second game and I took some pictures. For some "older" guys they play hard and have a lot of fun.

Les and Richard holding down the bench.

Les coaching from the bench (no action yet!)

Discussing the game at half time

Dribbling down the court- Go Daddy!

Sisters

It has always amazed me that two average looking people could have such beautiful daughters!

Speechless

I am having a hard time coming up with something cute for this picture, so I thought you could do it for me. Here's the contest: write the best caption for the picture and win world renown fame through my blog (since I have such a multitude of reader!:). Let the funnies begin!

CinderELLA

I love the fact that Ella is still at the age where she thinks cleaning the floor is fun. I know it won't last long!

CinderELLA, CinderELLA, wash the dishes, do the mopping, and the cleaning . . . :)

Thankful Thursday

Today I am thankful for:
1. Little girls who love their daddy
2. The excitement snow brings
3. Friends who will just listen to me talk about nothing
4. Diet soda
5. Noggin is 24 hours
6. Coupons for free milk
7. My hunky hubby
8. Big boys who still want to snuggle
9. Hot chocolate for snack
10. No school tomorrow!

Snow!!!

Yesterday, the forecast was for snow, so the kids were beyond excited. I was looking forward to maybe sleeping in, but that didn't happen because the school phone tree called THREE times before 7am! There was not much snow, but the kids loved what there was!
Snowball fighting!

Say cheese!

Getting more ammunition!

Bedtime Shenanigans

Sometimes getting these three to bed is like pulling teeth!
Cool Breeze would not put on her pajamas.

The DIVA had to sing a few tunes.

They had to have a snack (Yes that is a bag of cheese doodles!)

And of course pose for a picture for Mom. Good night you three!

Christmas part 3

Les's mom did not get to come and see us at Christmas because she got sick, so she came this past weekend. The kids were so excited. I think I may have to sit down and talk to them bout the fact that Christmas usually doesn't come 3 times a year.
Hurry Mom! I want to open my present!

Wrapping paper everywhere, again!

Ella loves her new baby, Sally.

I wonder what it is?

It's for ME!!!

5 going on 15

Today, after school, Grace and I were putting away the huge pile of clothes on her bed. I told her to find all the pairs of panties and put them away, while I sorted through the rest. Her response was priceless! She said "Mom! I am grown up now! You don't have to call them panties, they are underwear!" Well, excuse me!

Thankful Thursday

I have seen this on other blogs and thought it was a great idea to stop and count my blessings.

Today I am thankful for:
1. Two year olds who love to laugh
2. Cute puppies who want to nap with you on the couch
3. Muscles that are sore from exercising
4. My husband taking my older two to school every morning
5. 100 calorie ice cream sandwiches
6. My early morning walking buddy
7. Les
8. Jonathon
9. Grace

All Grown Up

Today, when Grace got home from school, I overheard this converstaion:
Ella-"Hey Grace."
Grace-"Hey Ella."
Ella-"How was school?"
Grace-"Fine."

Nobody asked ME if they could grow up!

Hangin' with our buddies!

This morning, the Bott kids came over to play while Laura took care of some BSF things. We jokingly call our families the "Clan of OTT".
All smiles-right now! In a minute or two, they will be fighting over something!

The artist at work

Jonathon and Emily totally engrossed in Webkin world

Playstation guru hard at work- Go Bradley!

Story time with Daddy

Last night, the girls were getting ready for bed and I had read them a story, but they wanted Daddy to read it too.

I thought it was time to settle down, not go crazy!
