Neighbors

We have some of the best neighbors around! It is so obvious that God hand picked the people around us. Just a few examples to show you what I mean. The other day someone knocked on the door. It was our neighbor Jeff wanting to know if Jonathon would like a stereo for his room. Later that day, we were outside admiring another neighbor's new patio when we were offered their old patio furniture. Later that evening, gently used shorts arrived for Jonathon. Just yesterday, our neighbor Shawn offered us a dryer. It needs a belt and is better than the one we have. All these things happened in 3 days time. Other, smaller, things affirm that we live right where we are supposed to. We meet with one couple for a bible study (when our schedules can), our kids have playmates that they love right next door, Christian families surround us on three sides, everyone looks out for everyone else, they even put up with our barking puppy. :) It is just like an extended family.
