This is so me!

Have you ever tried to explain how you feel, but just can't find the words? I have been struggling with feeling like a bad mom lately because I don't feel capable of fulfilling all the needs my kids have. It eats at me when I forget to pack Grace a snack or have to chose Grace's soccer practice over Jonathon's football practice not to mention that Ella just seems lost in the shuffle. I have no idea how I will function when the new baby gets here! This morning I read a post on Lysa TerKeurst's blog that finally put into words what I have been struggling with. If you have a moment and are a mom, read it. I think you will be able to relate.

I came over via Lysa's blog and your worries about #4 struck me, I too faced the same thing a month ago. An unexpected positive pregnancy test had me overwhelmed - with a 5, 3, and 1 year old at home I instantly told God, I can't do this. As days passed the worries did too and the truth of children being a gift from the Lord shined in my life again. 15 days later I experienced a miscarriage and the pain of loss greatly outweighs the joy of life, so Amanda don't worry - God has given you a gift and He will prepare you to be the mom that little man needs!! Blessings to you and my prayers go with you as the pregnancy continues!!
